Garden Sharing Scheme

Local Garden Sharing Scheme
(supported by the Banchory and District Initiative)

Outline
This scheme is for people who enjoy home grown vegetables but either don’t have a big enough garden to grow their own or have a garden that is too big for them to manage.   It aims to answer a need.

How it works
We hope to match people up so that gardening skills are not lost and plots lying fallow at present are put to good use.  It will work best when people live reasonably close.   Gardeners and garden owners will be introduced to each other and will agree on how they would like arrangements to work.    Guidelines are available on the points that would need to be discussed.

How to register
To find out more or to register, phone Maddie Thurlow on 01330-822942 or email maddie.corrichie1@twang.co.uk

The scheme is new so it might take some time to find suitable matches.
