Bus Services

Stagecoach Bluebird and Aberdeenshire Council have jointly launched improved bus services between Aberdeen and Banchory, which commenced on Monday 9th July 2007. The new ‘Discover Royal Deeside’ services operate up to every 20 minutes, Monday to Saturday between Banchory and Aberdeen via North Deeside Road. The Sunday timetable has also been improved, with services operating hourly for most of the day between Aberdeen, Banchory and Braemar.  There is also a new 204 service from Strachan on weekdays.

501 Heather Hopper (May to September)          

Between Strathspey and Deeside

The Heather Hopper 501 service, which is funded by the Cairngorms National Park Authority and the Aberdeenshire and Highland Councils, will be launched on 14th May and will run until 29th September for 7 days a week.

502/3 Heather Hopper (June to August)

Between Deeside and Perthshire

The 502 will be operated by Stagecoach from 30th June until 11th August, 6 days a week. 

The 502 service will run between Banchory- Ballater- Braemar and Glenshee six days a week (starting and terminating between Pitlochry and Blairgowrie on alternate days).
