St Ternan’s Lodge Open Day - June 11th


People can visit the Lodge to see the fascinating archives and historic artefacts.  Tea. coffee, and home bakes will be available from 10-00am until 4-00pm

Also on Saturday 11th, from 11am until 3pm, Banchory Library and Museum will try to take you back to Post War Banchory. The Museum will be looking at the 1950s and early 60s, then visitors can go up the ‘psychedelic stairs’ to the library which will cover the late 60s and early 70s. if you have memories of those decades, whether as a beatnik, rocker, hippy or glamrocker…come and tell your story. Lots of children’s activities on the theme too.

Just outside the Library, Banchory Lions will have their St Ternan’s special bookstall and will also act as an information point to let everyone know what events will be happening at the Bellfield park the following day, Sunday 12th
June… the family fun part of St Ternan’s Fair.
