Join us on a journey through the world's most breathtaking landscapes with a selection of award winning films showcasing the year’s most daring feats of courage and tales of human resilience. Whether you're a seasoned explorer or simply someone who appreciates the majesty of nature, this tour promises to ignite your sense of adventure and leave you with a renewed appreciation for the planet we call home. The films will be introduced by a member of the Kendal Mountain Presenting team. Get ready to be thrilled, inspired and moved at the Kendal Mountain Tour 2024 – where adventure begins at your doorstep… Alongside the collection of films, we’ll be joined by Lee Craigie, mountain bike adventurer and racer, author, outdoor therapist, campaigner for active travel, and champion for women in the outdoors. Lee is one of Scotland’s great bike racers competing internationally in cross-country mountain biking at both the World Championships and Commonwealth Games. In 2016 she became the UK 24-hour MTB champion. After retiring from full-time racing, Lee went on to set records on several self-supported bikepacking races at home and abroad. In 2016, she launched The Adventure Syndicate to offer an alternative female sporting role model. Between 2018 and 2022 she was Scotland’s Active Nation Commissioner. On stage, Lee will be sharing tales of her inspiring adventures and life.
