About this event:
Othello is the greatest general of his age. A fearsome warrior, loving husband and revered defender of Venice. But he is also an outsider whose victories have created enemies. As they plot in the shadows, Othello realises too late that the greatest danger lies not in the hatred of others, but his own fragile and destructive pride. Hugh Quarshie and Lucian Msamati return to the RSC to play Othello and Iago in Iqbal Khan’s production. Joining them in the role of Desdemona is Joanna Vanderham, who makes her RSC debut. Running time: 210 minutes including interval £16.50, £14.50 conc. £5.50 U16 in advance £17.50, £15.50 conc. £6.50 U16 on the door
